A Summer of Nine Hats Events
Memorial Day has come and gone, where we barbecued our meats and graced our palates with as much Nine Hats wines as we had on hand. Now, it’s time to REALLY get into summer activities. With our great state slowly but surely opening back up, we could not be more stoked to host you at our tasting room in downtown Seattle for some fun, engaging, and educational IN-PERSON summer events!
Set for Summer
We have events set for June through August and are prepared to help make this the best post-pandemic summer ever! You might have noticed that we are now requiring reservations for some events that we haven’t in the past. For the most part, we just need a head count to ensure our guests and staff stay safe. So, without further ado, here is what we have planned for a summer of Nine Hats events…
Vino for Vaccines - All of June!
On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the entire month of June, we’re offering Vino for Vaccines! Visit us at our tasting room in SODO now through June 30th with your vaccination card in hand and enjoy a current release tasting on us! Bonus: just for coming in, your name will be entered to win a $30 gift card. Thanks for helping us to make Washington safer!
Trivia Night - Blockbusters Edition, June 16th @ 6pm
Do you remember a time not too long ago (in a galaxy far, far away) when summers meant movie premieres? Well, we’re bringing the excitement back with a Blockbuster Movie Trivia Night. You and your movie buff friends will test your skills on all things pertaining to the silver screen while joining us for some wine and pizza. You can reserve your spots and add on your trivia packages here.
CULT Movie Night - PRIDE Edition - June 29th @ 6:30pm
June in Seattle is about embracing who you are and having PRIDE in yourself! That’s why our June CULT Movie Night is celebrating Pride Month by showing the viewers’ choice of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Booksmart, or Love, Simon. This event is free to attend, but a reservation is required. Make yours here.
Bingo Nights! - July 7th & August 11th @ 6pm
Some of our favorite evenings have been Bingo Nights at our SODO tasting room. Witty banter, Nine Hats wine, and Nine Pies Pizzeria combined with epic bingo games and prizes are what sometimes keep us going week after week. Don’t miss these next two Bingo Nights, we’re going to have a blast! Reservations are required and your $5 buy-in includes a set of bingo cards for one. Learn more here.
Sip and Centerpiece - July 15th @ 6:30pm
Join us and our friends over at Corks and Canvas for the first ever Sip and Centerpiece! We’ll be drinking Nine Hats wines and learning how to create personalized seasonal centerpieces. Channel your inner Martha Stewart and grab your tickets here.
Trivia Night - Disney Edition - July 20th @ 5:30pm
If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting our fabulous Tasting Room Lead, Jonathan, then you know this is the trivia night that he’s been waiting for. So, put on your Mickey ears and reserve your spot for Disney trivia. Every team that dresses up will receive three bonus points! Get those costumes together and reserve your table here.
CULT Movie Night - Look to the Sky - July 27th @ 6:30pm
As we patiently wait for Top Gun: Maverick to come out, we’re taking things into our own hands with July’s CULT Movie Night theme “Look to the Sky!” We’ll be celebrating our need for speed and the great country we live in by viewing one of these three flicks: Independence Day, Top Gun, or Air Force One. Make sure to vote for your favorite and reserve your seat at the theater (our SODO tasting room) here.
Trivia Night - ‘80s Edition - August 24th @ 6pm
Are you Livin’ on a Prayer? Do you want to Dance with Somebody? Are you an expert in all things ‘80s?! If so, join us for a night in celebration of the best (and worst) of the ‘80s. Round up your posse, tease your hair, brush off the shoulder pads, and enjoy Nine Hats wine and Nine Pies pizza while you reminisce. Three bonus points to every team that dresses up. CULT Movie Night - In Pizza We Crust - August 31st @ 6pm
There’s nothing like a pizza party to close out the summer, especially when experts say 94% of Americans eat pizza regularly. So if you’re going to do it, let’s do it together! The winning movie between Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Mystic Pizza, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be shown (don’t forget to vote via social media).
