Nine Hats Social Club: What's Next

As Nine Hats prepares to close our SODO tasting room and make way for the new Long Shadows SODO tasting room, we know our Social Club members may have questions about what this transition means for their membership. 

The most important thing to know: the Nine Hats Social Club isn't going anywhere. 

Your twice-annual allocations, member wine savings, Nine Pies discount, access to limited wines and member gatherings will continue. Nine Pies Pizzeria will become the new gathering place for our Social Club community in SODO, with new ways to enjoy Nine Hats wines and connect with us. 

Some benefits will look a little different, so we've answered the most important questions below.

Is the Nine Hats Social Club going away?

No. The Nine Hats Social Club will continue, and there is nothing you need to do to maintain your membership.

Will my spring and fall allocations continue?

Yes. Members will continue to receive two six-bottle allocations each year, with the choice of an all-red allocation or a mix of red and white wines.

Allocations may be shipped, picked up by arrangement at Long Shadows in Walla Walla, or picked up during our twice-annual Social Club pickup parties in SODO.

Will Social Club pickup parties continue?

Absolutely. We will continue to host two complimentary Social Club pickup parties each year in SODO. These gatherings will be an opportunity to pick up your allocation, enjoy Nine Hats wines and connect with fellow Social Club members.

What happens to my complimentary monthly tasting? 

While regular Nine Hats tastings will no longer be offered in SODO, this monthly member benefit will take on a new format.

Social Club members may enjoy one to two complimentary glasses of Nine Hats wine each month at Nine Pies Pizzeria, depending on club level. No reservation is required.

We also plan to host occasional Nine Hats pop-up tastings and special experiences throughout the year.

Can I still purchase Nine Hats wines and receive my member savings?

Yes. Nine Hats wines will continue to be available for purchase at Nine Pies Pizzeria.

Your Social Club wine savings will remain the same and members will also continue to receive their 10% discount at Nine Pies Pizzeria.

What will happen to Bingo, Trivia, and other Nine Hats events?

We will pause regular Bingo and Trivia Nights for now while we look for new ways to bring the Nine Hats community together at Nine Pies.

Our twice-annual Social Club pickup parties will continue in SODO.

Social Club members will also receive invitations to select events at the new Long Shadows SODO tasting room with access to special member ticket pricing.

Will my Social Club benefits tranfer to Long Shadows SODO?

Nine Hats Social Club membership benefits, including complimentary tastings and wine discounts, will not transfer to Long Shadows SODO.

Nine Hats and Long Shadows will remain distinct wine experiences and membership programs. However, Nine Hats Social Club members will be invited to select Long Shadows SODO events and will have opportunities to purchase tickets at special member pricing.

Can I still host a private event?

Yes. Social Club members will be able to host private events at the new Long Shadows SODO and will continue to receive a discount on event rental fees and Nine Hats wines for their event.

While our SODO tasting room is changing, the community behind Nine Hats remains an important part of who we are. We’re excited to make Nine Pies a new home base for the Social Club and to continue sharing great wine, good food and plenty of reasons to gather.
