Mulled Spiced Wine Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 bottle Nine Hats Red Wine
- 1/2 bottle Nine Hats Pinot Gris
- 1 Orange
- 1 Apple
- 1 two-inch piece of peeled ginger
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Nine Hats Spiced Wine Sachet (available with the Mulled Wine Kit)
Instructions
- Use a knife/peeler to remove zest from orange into medium pot
- Juice orange into pot
- Thinly slice the apple into the pot
- Add 1 bottle Nine Hats Red Wine to pot
- Add 1/2 bottle Nine Hats Pinot Gris to pot
- Add Spiced Wine Sachet to pot
- Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar until disolved
- Heat on medium until heated through but NOT boiling
- Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Simmer on medium-low for 45 minutes to an hour
- Stir and taste during this time and drink when it's to your liking!
