Rewarding from the first taste, beautiful minerality is present on the nose with a rich mouthfeel of black raspberry, licorice and roasted coffee. A bold yet well-balanced wine, this Columbia Valley Syrah is made from select vineyards that exhibit rich and distinctive varietal character. Red Mountain’s Vineyards give the wine its structure and opulent full body. Stone Tree and Candy Mountain vineyards provide savory notes of smoked meats, tapenade and sage while the 1993 planting at Dutchman's Vineyard in the Yakima Valley enhances the brightness. Columbia Valley
Elegant and inviting with vibrant aromatics of fresh jasmine, white peach and hints of baking spice. Flavors of dried apricots and quince highlight a creaminess on the palate that is well balanced by the wine’s brightness and lively character. The 2019 Nine Hats Chardonnay was sourced primarily from the Yakima Valley’s French Creek and Boushey vineyards. It is a cooler AVA that helps retain the Chardonnay’s acidity and elegance. Complex, expressive and beautifully balanced, this wine is fermented for 9 months on the lees and aged in French oak barrels, concrete eggs and stainless steel for added layers.
